The Character Dreamed I
"To master all religions and philosophies are different ways of pointing out the truth. The states that the arguments for or against any of them, are manifestations of sectarian and indicates that the ontological or theological discussions are child's play. perceive an aspect of Reality treasured, and not perceive the other aspects, and even deny them, is an inadequate reductionism. In every religion, philosophy or doctrine, there is a proceeding to know Reality. " (R. Malak. Radiance Non-dual. 8.27)
"To master all religions and philosophies are different ways of pointing out the truth. The states that the arguments for or against any of them, are manifestations of sectarian and indicates that the ontological or theological discussions are child's play.
When I started writing this text, which consists of several parts in which it was separated to be read by regular doses without indigestion, and before finding the quote I took from our book with R. Malak (which I put above), was driven by a tense confrontation that I felt towards certain directions that I have been reading from some fans and exhibitors of Advaita. This feeling was in parallel with a series of ideas that are stirring ordered trying to express both my feeling and my understanding. In this mental work, my attention was immersed in the process and spent a few days I could not express what I understand beyond intellectual precisely because the mind was taking precedence. In this way, I fell into the trap precisely what Malak is pointing in that appointment. When I found in a random search within the book to illustrate this paper, I felt a warning. I was biasing with certain points of view, precisely, as stated there, treasured. So I considered so precious that I took as the beginning of this whole discussion about "character" to be vigilant and not fall into the trap that crystallizes try to share an understanding that no imposition, but rather as an invitation to question what we believe and we always take the side makes an appearance, being separated from its opposite.
We talk about this character - the dream character - calling it "mind-body organism" and it happens two curiously opposite directions to each other. On the one hand it says that the body is an inert object in consciousness, then this is contradicted when they mention the same time as the body thinks, does, wants and moves in a conditional. Then I can not help but notice that this is like assuming that the reflection in the mirror (the supposed inert object) has the ability to see, but here I say, to see would be alive and should be independent of the original subject notes reflection. Necessarily comes this thought: The ability to know is known, well, me ... what do you know?, where is it?, is it somewhere I can put this ability to be conscious? And another question: does the reflection is really an object?

The Dream II Character
"The Actually, in appearance, seems to be structured as follows: consciousness was centralized as the "thinking I am 'or beingness and become manifested in the apparent creator and manipulator of his environment, allowing a larger domain move, pushing to believe it is a separate entity of Being itself is here, however it comes back to consciousness itself, and the desires and doubts will disappear. The self is the observer states of mind and deep sleep, dreaming and wakefulness, as well as the processes of the body and emotions, so it is the very observation of the whole structure. "(R. Malak. Glow Dual Non-16.8)
What I propose is this: the character is neither alive as an independent entity, not inert and it is obvious that our bodies are very strongly. And I will say this: "The character dreamed not dreamed of identity. The Dreamlife either. All is dream for Himself and that dream is Consciousness .- could also say: Consciousness, being the claims of the existence of everything perceived is always awake, but there are plenty of ways, some dreams seem Other presences.
The crucial issue then is to find out if I, despite feeling very, very human person, I'm different, I am a reflection, I look, I'm a flash, I'm an object in consciousness, or consciousness itself am so let's see. The character (the person who experiences the story) with whom he is closely identified, feeling intensely as "I" is not an object inert Consciousness, as the identification - as consciousness of being the character - is live shows. This character is not strongly assumed inert but neither is an independent subject with absolute freedom of choice. Assuming one or the other would be fragmented (dual) and limited by mere intellectual understanding, not alive, so expressing the sign to the nondual . The proposition that I offer to be addressed is this: The character or person, as to be is consciousness itself, which has centralized sensory perceiving what goes through a specific body and identifies with experienced through the body like mine and something different from what other , and in turn receiving and interpreting filter must be learned through society, culture, environment and others. The character, so understood, is awareness that overlooks its true date and is determining with what is stored in memory, let your instrument of perception, including the brain and nervous system with particular memory of that agency to determine their travel in the world time and space.
and old folk tales related to this, which tell how the actor in a play, dressed as a beggar and acting as such, leaving the scene, natural and it is considered appropriate costume and act as something inert that can be put aside and not further identified, as alienated with his role. In this sense we can get rid of the character at the end of the act, but the duration of the function it is not possible because it makes the story more credible to the extent that is more attuned to their role. Action! says the director of a movie ... and this moment corresponds to the time assumed the character, and start time and space in history.
Similarly, since the self is what happens for an instant presence in that identification occurs, in which attention is glued to me as a person built, and this begins with thinking I . Then the last and the future become so important as if they were real - because without memory and without projections are losing track of who I am as someone defined - mindfulness being trapped in the future. And this is the central consciousness, the dream you live a story. Can you wake up from this situation as time since the instrument is still valid? Yes, surely, is a fact that happens ... such as a glow.
