The Character Dreamed I

Reading certain texts and watch videos dedicated to exposing the non-dual view, I notice that those engaged in research through the intellect in the spiritual path, sometimes speak of the dream character, sleep and arousal. "Awakening of consciousness." Sounds good though I wonder, does the consciousness is asleep? If consciousness is asleep who knows about it and how? I think it is worth investigating.

When I started writing this text, which consists of several parts in which it was separated to be read by regular doses without indigestion, and before finding the quote I took from our book with R. Malak (which I put above), was driven by a tense confrontation that I felt towards certain directions that I have been reading from some fans and exhibitors of Advaita. This feeling was in parallel with a series of ideas that are stirring ordered trying to express both my feeling and my understanding.
